Reviews and Ratings
My stay at the hotel was simply amazing! The breathtaking views of Carcassonne from the rooms turned my experience into a sublime one, despite the unexpected strong cigarette smell lingering in the air. The location was perfect for exploring both the old town and the castle, offering a beautiful outside restaurant area with a view of the castle and old city walls. However, the dining experience was a bit pricey and unimpressive. The service, though, was top-notch, especially the housekeeping. Overall, a memorable stay with a mix of highs and lows.
I stayed at this lovely hotel for a couple of days and had a great time. The room had an amazing view of the walled town with a lovely terrace overlooking the bridge and chateau. The bedding was so comfy, and the room was incredibly spacious. The location was perfect for exploring both the medieval castle and the bustling shopping area. However, the dining experience was a bit too 'self-service' for a 4-star hotel, and some areas were too crowded. Overall, a good value for money stay.
My stay at the hotel was simply amazing! The incredible views of the bridge and Cite beyond from my room were breathtaking. Having two windows, one in the bedroom and one in the bathroom, both overlooking the castle, added an extra charm to the experience. The room had a comfy bed and a nice coffee maker for my morning brew, but I must admit, it felt rather small for the price paid for a four-star hotel.
Upon arrival, the room wasn't ready, possibly due to flooding causing transport issues. The room was small, and the view was partially obstructed by a neighboring hotel. However, the early check-in was appreciated.
The hotel offers a lovely view of the City walls from Room 202, although missing a fridge and toothbrush amenities. The location is excellent, especially for exploring the walled city and the river areas. However, the dining experience fell short with food quality and chaos in the restaurant.
The hotel is conveniently situated near the old town and the castle, offering fabulous views of the medieval city. The rooms are spotless but cramped for storage, although the variety of choices for breakfast comes at a steep price.
